My memory was when I was 18 years old. I was in a band and we had just finished recording our first album. We were heading back home from Washington. It was around 10 o’clock at night when we were passing through Portland. As we were driving, I was sitting in the back of our bass player’s car. We had all our musical equipment and clothes stacked on top of me because we were driving a little Toyota. I was crammed in the back with all of our stuff and listening to a band called Silverstein. As we were driving, I was looking out the window and seeing the Portland city lights reflecting off the river and that was the moment that I knew I wanted to play music. That was what I wanted to do with my life, just to be there with the people I love and doing what I love to do most. It was special to me. – Aaron

Mi recuerdo es de cuando tenia 18 años. Estaba en una banda y acabábamos de grabar nuestro primer álbum. Regresamos a casa desde Washington. Eran alrededor de las 10 en punto de la noche cuando estábamos pasando por Portland. Mientras conducíamos yo estaba sentado en la parte trasera del carro de nuestro bajista. Teníamos todo nuestro equipo musical y ropa encima de nosotros porque manejábamos un pequeño Toyota. Estaba todo apretado en la parte de atrás con todas nuestras cosas y escuchando a una banda llamada Silverstein. Mientras conducíamos, miraba por la ventana y veía las luces de la ciudad de Portland reflejándose en el río y ese fue el momento en que supe que quería tocar música. Eso era lo que quería hacer con mi vida, simplemente estar ahí con la gente que amo y hacer lo que me gusta. Fue especial para mi. – Aaron
