Feliz retiro el jefe adjunto Brett Johnson

La locura de marzo ha llegado al departamento de policía de Medford (MPD por sus siglas en inglés) esto a causa de tres promociones dentro de nuestra organización, y hay más por venir. La primera de estas promociones es luego de que el jefe adjunto Brett Johnson anunció que se retiraría de la MPD. El jefe Johnson inició su carrera en la ciudad de Medford como un oficial de la policía el 1º de agosto de 1995. Luego fue promovido a sargento en noviembre 1º del 2003. Más delante, el 1º de diciembre del 2009 ascendió a teniente. En diciembre 1º del 2013 fue promovido a jefe adjunto (deputy chief). El jefe Brett Johnson trabajó en varias comisiones durante su larga carrera, fue patrullero, detective en la lucha contra las drogas y pandillas, sargento de patrulla, sargento detective, sargento de asuntos internos, teniente de patrullas y comandante de la fuerza de apoyo al buró de la jefatura (MADGE por sus siglas en inglés). El jefe Johnson ha dedicado muchos años de su vida a la ciudad y le deseamos gran éxito en el siguiente capítulo de su vida.

March madness has come to the Medford Police Department in the form of three promotions within our organization, with still more to come. This was caused when Deputy Chief Brett Johnson announced he was retiring from MPD. Deputy Chief Brett Johnson began his career with the City of Medford as a Police Officer, August 1, 1995. He was promoted to Police Sergeant November 1, 2003, to Police Lieutenant May 16, 2009 and promoted again on December 1, 2013 to Deputy Police Chief. Deputy Chief Johnson worked various assignments to include: Patrol Officer, Gang and Street Drugs Detective, Patrol Sergeant, Detective Sergeant, Internal Affairs Sergeant, Patrol Lieutenant, MADGE Task Force Commander and Support Bureau Deputy Chief. Deputy Chief Johnson has dedicated many years to the City and we wish him the greatest of success, in the next chapter of his life.
