365 Project – Day 94

Mi esposa y yo iniciamos nuestro noviazgo durante la secundaria. Y aunque ella terminó la relación, un año después se dio cuenta que aún tenía sentimientos hacia mí. Entonces seguimos de novios pero durante el verano decidió de nuevo terminar la relación. Nos hicimos muy buenos amigos y cuando estudiábamos en  el segundo año de la prepa en South iniciamos otra vez nuestra relación y empezamos a salir. Anduvimos de novios dos años y al terminar la prepa decidimos casarnos. Aprendimos que no es tan fácil como parece, especialmente durante el primer año. Hemos estado casado durante catorce años. Es fascinante, y no sé qué hubiera sido de mi vida sin ella. Esperamos seis años para tener nuestro primer bebé. Fue una época interesante para mí. Crecí sin mi padre así que convertirme en padre era emocionante pero a la vez me daba mucho temor. Acepté esta realidad e hice lo mejor que pude. Ahora tengo dos hijos de 7 y 5 años y ha sido la mejor experiencia de mi vida. -Ryan Moon

My wife and I started dating in middle school. She broke up with me, but later that year, she realized she still had feelings for me. She broke up with me again, in the summer. We became best friends and in sophomore year at South, we dated again. We were together for 2 years in high school. Right after high school, we decided to get married. We learned that it’s not as easy as it seems, especially that first year. We’ve been married for 14 years. It’s so amazing. I don’t know what I would ever have done without her. We waited 6 years to have our first child. It was an interesting time for me. I didn’t have my father around so being able to now be a father is amazing, but also was the scariest thing. I just took it on, and did the best I could. I now have 2 sons, ages 7 and 5. It’s been the best experience of my life. -Ryan Moon
