Frostbite Run (SOR), Talent Oregon

Southern Oregon Runners 2nd running event of 2016 was the Frostbite run. The race started at Talent Middle School and went all the way through the back roads of Talent/Phoenix. The event featured a 5k and 10k course. I interviewed Cesar Flores after the run and he told me “It was my first run of the year. I ran it to see where I’m at and where I should go from here (with my training).” I also had the chance to interview Marilu Medina and her son. “The run was great with the perfect running weather. Last year my son and I ran at the same pace, but this year he ran faster then me,” said Medina.

Proceeds made from the Frostbite run will benefit Talent Middle School cross country team.
